Vent Cleaning Helper (fixed term)

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Vent Cleaning Helper to help us over the summer with dryer vent cleaning, equipment set up and installations, and other support duties as required.
This is a full-time fixed term position beginning in May 2025 and ending in late August or September 2025. This position is ideal for a college or university student (18+) looking for summer employment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with dryer vent cleaning and preventative maintenance services in various locations across South-Western Ontario (transportation provided)
- Prepare commercial washers and dryers for installation
- Perform shipping/receiving duties, including loading and unloading trucks
- Assist with various shop-related activities e.g. pulling parts, cleaning
- Always adhere to company policies and safety regulations
- Participate in training as required
Requirements & Competencies
- Reliable transportation to our shop in Breslau
- Practical and hands-on, with mechanical / technical aptitude
- Good verbal/written communication skills
- Positive, customer-centric attitude
- Quick learner with attention to detail
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally move 200 pounds or more with a dolly
Pay Range: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour depending on experience.
